    Description

    This is a ninth edition of "My Favorite Recipes" published by Royal Baking Powder Co. in 1909.  It is a hard cover book that has been used, used, used!  There are recipes from the newspaper glued over the fly leaves and end papers and some stains on some of the pages but it is complete and legible throughout.  It has hundreds of recipes for bread, puddings, pies, cakes and cookies as well as ice cream, drinks and other dining delights.  It is 9 & 1/4" by 6" with wear to the covers.  The lettering which was evidently white has almost completely worn away.  This is a survivor and full of surprising recipes such as "Moonshine Cake."
